A Northeast Iowa man, being held in the Fayette County jail in West Union, has now been transferred to the Winneshiek County jail to face drug and other charges.


37 year old Thomas Monson of West Union, was incarcerated in the Fayette County jail on undisclosed charges.

On Tuesday morning (March 19), Monson was transferred to the Winneshiek County jail in Decorah, on an arrest warrant for having contraband in a correctional facility, carrying weapons, possession of controlled substance-marijuana and possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine.
