Area Man Rolls Car at Fairbank-Amish Blvd Corner

An Independence motorist is being charged with causing a traffic accident in rural Buchanan County.

It happened at about 11pm Friday near the intersection of Otterville Blvd. and Fairbank-Amish Blvd, west of Otterville.

A car driven by 20 year old Matthew Beebe was headed west on Otterville Blvd., when he lost control on a right-hand turn onto Fairbank-Amish Blvd. The car spun sideways into a ditch, then rolled once, coming to rest on it's wheels.

Beebe was not hurt, but he was cited for failure to maintain control.
