Area Man Injured When He Fell out of His Pickup Near Wadena

A Wadena man was injured, when he fell out of his vehicle in rural Fayette County over the weekend.

Shortly after 4pm Saturday (April 13), the Fayette County Sheriff was notified of a person who sustained injuries when he fell out of a pickup on 147th Street, just outside of Wadena.

An investigation determined that 54 year old Lane Lenth was driving along a curve from a field drive, when his vehicle went into the ditch. Lenth had somehow fallen out of the vehicle.

He was taken by ambulance to the West Union hospital. Damage to his 2011 Dodge Ram was minimal. The accident is still under investigation
