Area Man Injured in Accident Involving Deer

A Northeast Iowa man has been injured in an accident involving his vehicle and a deer.

At about 6:30pm Tuesday (Nov. 27), the Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call, reporting an accident with injuries in the 13,000 block of Highway 150, just south of Fayette.

A northbound car driven by 46 year old Dusty Dunn of Fayette was struck by a deer that ran out onto the road.

Dunn sustained minor injuries, but his 2015 Ford Escape was totaled.

The accident was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff, with assistance from the Fayette Police Department and Fayette Ambulance.
