Area Man in Jail for Sex Abuse of Juveniles

A Jesup man has been taken into custody for allegedly having sexual contact with 2 juveniles.

Just before 4pm Thursday (July 16), the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office arrested 34 year old Ryan Young of Jesup, on 2 counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse.

Authorities made the arrest following the investigation into the sexual abuse of two juveniles, younger than 12 years old.

Young was held in the Buchanan County jail in Independence.
