Area Man Fails to Comply With Sex Offender Registry

A Northeast Iowa man has allegedly failed to comply with rules regarding the state sex offender registry.

On Tuesday (April 3), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office completed an investigation that indicated 48 year old Tony Hertrampf of West Union had failed to comply with the state sex offender registry.

The investigation revealed that Hertrampf did not report the required information, needed for the registry.

Hertrampf was issued a summons to appear in court at a later date.
