Area Man Cited During Oelwein Traffic Stop

A local man has been issued a citation following a traffic stop in Oelwein.

The incident happened at about 11pm Sunday (Feb. 4) in the 400 block of 3rd Street SE. Oelwein Police cited the driver, 50 year old Mark Olson of Oelwein, for Driving While his License is Suspended. Olson was also given a citation for not having insurance.

Oelwein Police are investigating a theft incident. Authorities received a report of a theft at about 10:30am Friday (Feb. 2) from the 10 block of 1st Avenue SE. No other information was released.
