Area Man Charged in a Rollover Accident That Totaled his Pickup

A Fayette man who rolled his vehicle into a ditch, is being charged with causing the accident.

Shortly after 2pm Sunday (Aug. 2), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a vehicle that rolled over into a ditch on "T" Avenue, west of St. Lucas.

Officers determined the driver, 22 year old Dalton Upton, was driving south, when he lost control of his pickup, rolling it into the ditch.

No one was injured, but Upton's 2000 Chevy Silverado was totaled.

He is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
