Area Man Busted Over the Weekend on Illegal Drug Charges

A local man faces several illegal drug charges.
At around 1am Sunday (Oct. 23), an Oelwein Police officer was interacting with 34 year old Ryan Martin of Oelwein, while in the 100 block of 1st Avenue SE.

Following the interaction, Martin was arrested for: Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Oelwein Police are investigating some vandalism. On Thursday (Oct. 20), shortly after 11am, authorities received a report of criminal mischief in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NE.

No other information was released.
