Area Man Busted for Selling Drugs to UIU Students
A young Hawkeye man was being held for allegedly selling illegal drugs to college students.
On Friday (Feb. 12), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a home on Wilbur Street in Hawkeye. The warrant was obtained following a week-long investigation, in which a suspect was allegedly selling controlled substances to students at Upper Iowa University in Fayette.

Following the search, deputies arrested 20 year old Justin Pfister, initially on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
The Fayette Police Department assisted the Fayette County Sheriff at the scene.
