A routine traffic stop in Fayette County has resulted in the arrest of a Dubuque man on drug charges.

Shortly after 1am Sunday (Nov. 25), a Fayette County Sheriff's deputy pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. After conducting an investigation, the driver, 24 year old Joshua Weeber of Dubuque, was arrested on the charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While Suspended. Weeber was taken to the Fayette County jail, and held until his initial court appearance.

A Hawkeye woman was taken into custody on 2 valid Fayette County warrants. At about 7pm Friday, 23 year old Mary Monroe was arrested for Failure to Appear on Domestic Abuse and Driving While Suspended warrants. Monroe was held on a $600 bond.

A Hazleton woman has been arrested on a Fayette County warrant on several charges; 35 year old Crystal Howard is charged with Failure to Appear in court for Dependent Adult Abuse Exploitation over $100, Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card-Under $1,000, Burglary (of an automobile)-3rd Degree, and Theft in the 3rd Degree. Howard was held in the Fayette County jail on $500 cash bond.

And the Fayette County Sheriff was called to a traffic accident involving a deer. This happened Saturday on Highway 150 near Fayette. A vehicle driven by Adrianne Ruroden of Fayette collided with a deer in the road. No one was injured, but there was $1,500 in damages to the vehicle.
