Area Man Arrested for Violating a Court Order

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that a Randalia man was arrested Monday afternoon (April 27) for the violation of a court order.

At about 2pm Monday, authorities received a report of a no-contact violation. Following an investigation, 49 year old Jamie Solheim was taken into custody for Violation of a No-Contact Order. Solheim was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial court appearance.

Fayette County Deputies were called out shortly after 11:30pm Monday to respond to a car/deer accident.
It happened on Juniper Road near Great River Road, north of West Union.
30 year old Dustin Ruroden of West Union was driving southbound, when a deer ran in front of his vehicle. Ruroden was not able to stop in time, and crashed into the animal.
No one was injured, but there was $5,000 damage to the 2015 Chevy Equinox.
