Area Barn Lost to Overnight Fire

Authorities are investigating the cause of a large barn fire in Allamakee County.

Firefighters were called out Thursday night to a farm located along Prairie Drive, which is on the northwest side of Waukon.

No word on who owns the barn or property. No one was injured, and no animals were harmed.

Firefighters were able to save four other structures near the burning structure, however the barn was totaled.
