Another Northeast Iowa suspect, allegedly involved in a theft ring in Fayette County, has been taken into custody.


45 year old Chad Palmer of Elgin was arrested by Black Hawk County authorities on Thursday (Aug. 24), on a Fayette County warrant for possession of a firearm as a felon.

Palmer's arrest stemmed from an investigation into a theft ring in West Union, in which Palmer took and sold firearms that belonged to the victim.

At least 6 others have been charged with various theft counts.
