Another NE Iowa City with a Water Main Break
Crews in the city of Clermont are working on a water main break, that happened on Tuesday (March 5).
The break had lowered the water pressure for Clermont customers. City workers finally found the water main break today, located near the corner of Carlton and Spring Streets in Clermont.
Crews are now working to clamp the leak, but the city does not have a timeline as to when the situation will be fully resolved, and water pressure will return to normal.
In the meantime, the city is asking residents to conserve water, and be monitoring Clermont's web site (www.clermontia.org), as well as their Facebook page, and also the electronic sign at the Opera House in Clermont, for further developments.
