An Area Man and His Daughter Arrested For Harassment

An Elgin man and his daughter have been arrested after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a home in Elgin.

The Fayette County Sheriff received a 911 call shortly after 7:30pm Wednesday (Aug. 28) to a house in the 200 block of Main Street in Elgin.

After officers arrived and conducted numerous interviews in the investigation, 53 year old Ethan Guyer, and his daughter, 30 year old Whitney Guyer, both of Elgin, were taken into custody.

Both are being charged with: Harassment 2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct, and Trespassing, all Simple Misdemeanors.

Father and daughter were taken to the Fayette County jail where they were held until their initial court appearance.
