Fayette County deputies have arrested an Ames resident on several charges, after he allegedly left a convenience store without paying for his fuel.


At about 10:45pm Tuesday, May 19th, the sheriff's office received a report of a gas drive-off from the BP Station in West Union.

The vehicle was later located, and the driver, 25 year old Kayden Loughran of Ames, was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated-First Offense, Driving While his License is Suspended, and Theft-5th Degree.

Loughran was held in the Fayette County jail until his initial appearance before a magistrate.
