Ambulance Collides with Deer on Way to Accident

Even an ambulance is not immune to damages from deer.

On the way to an accident scene east of Maynard shortly after 4am Saturday (April 29), a Fayette Ambulance Service vehicle was responding to provide medical attention, when it struck a deer on Highway 150, south of Fayette.

No one else was injured, but the ambulance had $3,000 damage.

The accident was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff.
