Accidents Involving Deer in Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office reports a couple of recent car/deer accidents.
At about 5:30pm Friday, deputies responded to an accident north of Arlington on County Road W-51. 56 year old Brien Patterson of Wadena was driving south, when a deer came out onto the roadway, striking his vehicle. No one was injured, but there was $5,000 in damages.

And just before 8:30pm Thursday, a car driven by 23 year old Anthony Suckow of Hudson hit a deer that came out onto the road. It happened near the intersection of County Road V-68 and 50th Street, east of Oran. No injuries were reported, and damages were estimated at $3,000.
