
Accidents Involving Deer are Reported in Fayette County
The Fayette County Sheriff reports two more traffic accidents involving deer.
The latest happened at about 12:05 today (Nov. 16), north of West Union on Juniper Road. A car driven by 32 year old Charles Drees of West Union was not able to stop for a deer that wandered onto the road. The collision caused$2800 in damages to the 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix; Drees was not hurt.
Another car/deer accident occurred just before 9:30pm Thursday, north of Fayette on Highway 150. A sport utility vehicle driven by 47 year old Joan Boleyn of Elgin, hit a deer that entered the roadway. She was not injured, but her Chevy Suburban had $3500 in damage.
