The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a one-vehicle rollover that happened Saturday night, just north of Maynard.
It happened shortly after 8:30am on Neon Road, when a pickup driven by 27 year old Cody Pattison of Evansdale, turned off of 110th street, and went out of control. The truck rolled into the ditch.
No injuries were reported. Pattison is being charged with failure to maintain control, but the accident remains under investigation.

A West Union teen is being charged with causing a traffic accident in Clermont. It occurred at about 5pm Monday, in the 100 block of State Street. A vehicle driven by 18 year old Alannah Guenther was backing out of a residential drive, when she struck another vehicle driven by 24 year old Melanie Bilden of Clermont. No one was injured, but there was a total of $2,000 in damage to the two vehicles. Guenther was cited for unsafe backing onto a highway.

And Fayette County deputies were called to a car vs deer accident Monday night at about 7pm, northwest of Hawkeye on county road V-68. A car driven by 42 year old Marcy Bergman of Sumner collided with a deer that ran out onto the road. No one was injured, but there was $1500 in damage.
