Accident Sends NE Iowa Woman to Hospital

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a one-vehicle accident that sent one person to the hospital.

It happened at about 3:30pm Monday, near the intersection of 210th Street and "O" Avenue, east of Hawkeye.

A vehicle driven by 20 year old Randi Jo Jurgensen of Fredericksburg was eastbound, when she lost control. The vehicle rolled several times into the ditch.

Jurgensen was taken to the West Union hospital for treatment. The car was totaled.

The Fayette County sheriff was assisted by Hawkeye First Responders, Hawkeye Fire department, and Tri-State ambulance.
