Accident in Fayette Co. Shuts Down Road

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating an accident that shut down a highway Thursday.

No details are available yet, however a picture posted on their Facebook page shows a semi trailer that apparently rolled onto it's side in a ditch along Highway 56.

The route is located east of West Union.

That portion of the road was closed down until the scene could be cleared. No injuries were reported.
