A Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Shop is Now Back in the Corridor

There's now a one-stop shop for coffee, donuts, AND ice cream!

Just a few weeks ago, a brand new Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins officially opened its doors at 3240 Redhawk Street in Coralville. It's located across the street from Hy-Vee near Foundry Food + Tap and Barrett's Quality Eats.

Based on the Google reviews and photos, it appears that the Baskin-Robbins products available at the new restaurant include various ice cream flavors by the scoop and pint, as well as sundaes, ice cream cakes, smoothies, and "creature creations." 

According to the Dunkin' website, the new Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins in Coralville is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins were purchased by Inspire Brands, Inc. back in December of 2020. Since then, Dunkin'/Baskin-Robbins combination shops have been popping up all over the country. In fact, back in the spring of 2022, it was revealed that one was being planned for the city of Cedar Rapids! According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, the proposed location for the business was the former Western Fraternal Life Association building at the corner of First Ave and 19th Street NE. In May of 2023, it was reported that the Cedar Rapids City Council advanced the rezoning plans for the location.

According to a survey from YouGov, Baskin-Robbins was named the most popular dining brand during the last quarter of 2023. It's no wonder that new shops are opening up! Other Baskin-Robbins locations in Iowa include one in Ankeny and one in Windsor Heights.
