Four Northeast Iowans have been arrested, after authorities received a tip concerning a residence in Elgin.


At about 7pm Saturday (March 14), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office got a report of a violation of the sex offender registry, at a house on Mill Avenue in Elgin.
Following an investigation, it was determined that 43 year old Joel Hass of Dubuque had been staying at the residence, without notifying authorities at the state sex offender registry. Hass was taken into custody on 2 counts of Sex Offender Registry Violations.

An investigation determined that there was drug activity in the house. At about 10:30pm, deputies executed a search warrant, that resulted in the seizure of multiple paraphernalia items and drugs.

39 year old Danielle Normann of Elgin was arrested on charges of 2 counts of Delivery of Marijuana, Gathering where Marijuana is Used, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

20 year old Bradley Normann of Clermont was charged with 2nd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance, and 18 year old Kenneth Gerleman Jr. of West Union was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Offense.
