The Fayette County Sheriff has arrested another New Hampton man in connection with a break-in at a Hawkeye business last week.


18 year old Tyson Green turned himself in to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday. Green was wanted for the July 23rd burglary of the Gas 'N' Goods convenience store in Hawkeye.

Green is being charged with burglary 2nd degree and theft 4th degree. He is being held in the Fayette County jail in West Union on $7,500 bond.

Another suspect in the crime, 21 year old Kyler Carnes of New Hampton, was arrested shortly after the incident, and is being charged with aid and abet to burglary in the second degree, and aid and abet to theft in the 4th degree.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office.
