2 Seriously Hurt in Rural Arlington Accident
Two people have been seriously injured in a rollover accident near Arlington in rural Fayette County.
The Fayette County Sheriff received a report of the accident at about 5:30am Monday (April 9); the location was a mile east of Arlington on Highway 187.
An SUV driven by 35 year old Albert Ensor of Strawberry Point lost traction on the ice-covered road, went into the ditch, and rolled.
Ensor and a passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital in Oelwein to be treated for serious injuries. The 2001 Ford Escape was totaled.
Ensor was cited for Failure to Prove Financial Liability.
