2 Oelwein Residents Arrested on Separate Warrants
Oelwein Police have arrested 2 local residents on separate outstanding warrants.
Just before 7pm Tuesday (Oct. 3), 38 year old Aaron James of Oelwein was taken into custody after an interaction with a police officer in the 10 block of 9th Avenue SE.
James was wanted on a Buchanan County warrant for Making False Reports.
At around 8:30pm Tuesday, 31 year old Cory Hursey of Oelwein was arrested in the 10 block of 8th Street SW. Hursey was wanted on a Fayette County warrant for a Residency Violation.
