2 Area Men Fall off Wall That Collapses on Them

A construction accident in Dubuque County has put two Northeast Iowa men in the hospital.

It happened at about 9am Tuesday (Sept. 22) at a residence on Basswood Lane in rural Sherill.

Two men, identified as Adam Hershberger and Raymond Stutzman, both 22 years old and both from Edgewood, were hurt when a mechanical lift tipped into a wall, causing the men to fall 15 feet. The wall then fell on top of them.

Both men were taken by emergency workers to an area hospital; a report on their conditions was not available.
