Chicago is a massive city so of course, like most places similar there's a problem with crime. Unfortunately, it's growing and spreading rapidly all over Illinois. I've been reading a lot of stories lately about criminals from the Windy City making their way to the suburbs to break the law. Here's the perfect example of what's happening.

Over $6,000 Worth Of Alcohol Stolen From Illinois Liquor Store

Three thieves from Chicago traveled into Lombard, a west suburb of the city. They made a stop at Lombard Liquors. The suspects pulled out some shopping bags and started walking up and down the aisles.

Each one of the guys started grabbing bottles of alcohol and putting them into their sacks. As soon as they were loaded up, they rushed out the door without paying. The stolen booze is valued at $6,123.29

Illinois Thieves Start Police Chase

The thieves headed to their getaway car and took off. They were speeding down I-290 when they tried to avoid the cops by exiting the highway. The suspects were traveling way too fast and crashed on the ramp. The trio took off running but the cops eventually caught up with them and they were arrested.

According to fox32chicago.com,

Three Chicago men traveled to the suburbs on Wednesday and allegedly stole more than $6,000 in alcohol from a liquor store before leading police on a chase on I-290.

 

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Travonta Turner, 26-year-old Deandre Richardson and 27-year-old Jonnie Fort entered the liquor store and began filling up bags with liquor bottles. The items in total were worth $6,123.29.
