A Northeast Iowa woman has been arrested early this morning (May 1) in Oelwein, after police discovered a suspicious vehicle.

At about 1:30am Oelwein officers checked on the vehicle in question in the parking lot in the 2100 block of South Frederick.

Following the investigation, 53 year old Rhonda Robinson of Brandon was taken into custody on 2 Buchanan County warrants on original charges of Theft-3rd Degree, and Trespass-1st Offense.

An Oelwein man was arrested over the weekend on drug and other charges. At about 8:30pm Saturday (April 28) in the 10 block of 1st Street SW, 51 year old David Tafolla was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substances-3rd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Interference with Official Acts.

And on Sunday, police cited Lowell Latham for Failure to Abate Property in the 400 block of 5th Avenue SW. He was served an abatement notice on March 19.
