Waukon Police have arrested two local residents on drug charges, both during routine traffic stops.


Early Monday morning (April 16), a Waukon Police officer pulled over a vehicle because the car's headlights and taillights were not turned on.

During the stop, 29 year old Blake Pohlman of Waukon was taken into custody on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, and Driving While Revoked.

The morning before, on Sunday, a car was stopped by Waukon Police on an equipment violation.

The driver, 27 year old Christian Caravallo of Waukon, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
