Iowa actually had a MLB team...kind of.

The first Major League Baseball game in Iowa is just over two days away. Here are all the particulars on the big league baseball's first trip to Iowa.

Ticket registration began on Monday, July 19th, and will go until July 23rd. Winners will be selected on July 26th. This is a bit different from the August notification date that Iowa residents will receive.

All Iowans over the age of 18 are eligible to enter into a lottery for tickets to the 'Field of Dreams' MLB game.

The bidding is currently at $15,100. All of the proceeds from this auction will go to Stand Up to Cancer. If you are willing to spend $15K on this unique experience then you have until July 27th to put in your bid.

A bummer for all Iowans and fans of the film which was shot in the state.
