As we come to the close of 2019, The Boot is looking back at some of the top headlines from the year.

Harris, the Texas singer-songwriter who died in a three-car accident in Taos, N.M., in early September, was driving 100-plus miles per hour before the head-on collision, according to officials investigating the crash.

It's such a sad situation.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in a crash that killed Harris and Maria Cruz.
