A Waukon woman, 86 year old Mary Margaret Troendle, died Friday. Services are Thursday at 11am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Lansing. Burial in Gethsemane cemetery. Visitation is 2 hours before the service at the church. Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing is helping the family.

A Marble Rock man, 82 year old Roger Staudt, died Saturday. A private service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Roseville. Burial at 11am Friday at the church cemetery. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

An Oelwein woman, 98 year old Jean Smith, died Sunday. Services are Thursday at 11am at Grace United Methodist church in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein, and an hour before services at the church.

A Monona woman, 92 year old Fern Olson, died Sunday. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11am at Faith Lutheran church in Monona. Burial in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery in Monona. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before services. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is helping the family.

A Greeley man, 88 year old Leo Fry, died Saturday. A private graveside inurnment will be held at Grant View Cemetery in Greeley. Public visitation is 9-11am Friday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Edgewood.

A former Monona woman, 90 year old Helen Knockel of Muscatine, died Friday. Services are Wednesday at 11am at St. Ann-St. Joseph Catholic church in Harpers Ferry. Burial in St. Patrick Catholic cemetery in Monona. Visitation is 2 hours before the service at the church. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is assisting the family.

A former Lourdes man, 89 year old Virgil Chihak of Spring Valley, Minnesota, died Friday. Services are Thursday at 10:30am at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church in Lourdes. The public is invited to the graveside service at the church cemetery, with military rites. Visitation is an hour before the service at the church. Conway Markham funeral home in Elma is assisting the family.

A former New Hampton man, 36 year old Travis Bouska of Iowa City, died Friday. Services are Wednesday at 10:30am at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton. Burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call 3-7pm Tuesday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton, with a 7pm parish scripture, and an hour before services at the church.

A Manchester man, 70 year old David Lawson, died Wednesday, June 17. A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 11am to 3pm at the Gathering Place in Manchester. Inurnment in Forestville cemetery in Dundee.

A McGregor woman, 78 year old Ruthann Daniels, died Tuesday, June 16th. Services are Saturday at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran church in McGregor. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.
