July 24 funeral announcements

Services have been changed for a Sumner woman, 82 year old Rachel Tiedt. The services will be held today, Monday at 11am at Immaculate Conception church in Sumner. Visitation is 9-11am at the church, with a rosary at 9am. Burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic cemetery in Fairbank at 1:30pm today (Monday).

Services for a former Oelwein man, 72 year old Arthur Jacobsen of Independence, are Tuesday at 10:30am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Monday and an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Services for an Edgewood man, 86 year old Charles "Charlie" Nurre, are Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Mark Catholic church in Edgewood. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-8pm Monday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point, with a 7:30pm scripture service, and an hour before services at the church

Services for a Cresco woman, 77 year old Patricia Fisher, are Friday at 11am at Notre Dame parish in Cresco. Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery in Lourdes. Visitation is 9-11am Friday at the church. Hindt Hudek funeral home in Cresco is assisting the family.

A McGregor man, 82 year old Michael McFadden, died July 13 at Great River Care Center; services are pending at Thornburg Grau funeral home in McGregor.
