Lawler Man Arrested in Oelwein on Outstanding Warrants

Oelwein Police have taken a Lawler man into custody on warrants from Fayette and Chickasaw Counties.

Shortly after 11am Thursday (April 12), following an interaction in the 1500 block of South Frederick, Oelwein officers arrested 22 year old Quenten Schweer on a Fayette County warrant for a parole violation; the original charges were Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, and Child Endangerment.

Schweer was also wanted on a Chickasaw County warrant for Harboring an Escapee.
