We all have a good idea of what we'd do if we won the lottery.

Some of us would quit our jobs (depending on the prize money); others would invest it so that money can grow, and a good chunk of people would use it to erase some of our debts.

Well, Iowans sure do enjoy these games of chance.

Nationwide, Americans spent $95.6 billion on lottery tickets in 2021. During that same year, Iowans spent about $422,897 on lottery tickets and about $132 per capita in the Hawkeye State, according to reports.
