Everything You Need to Know for the Buchanan County Fair

It's not summer until we can plan a day at our local county fair!

The Buchanan County Fair is back this week. It's going on from Tuesday, July 16th to Sunday, July 21st at the Buchanan County Fairgrounds in Independence.

This year, the fair's theme is "Fair of Dreams: if you show it, they will come!"

And people will be coming from all across Northeastern, Iowa for this multi-day event.

• 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Poultry Show at the Black Pavilion
• 12:00 PM: Fairgrounds Open
• 5:00 PM: Carnival Opens
• 6:00 PM: Opening Ceremony
