A New Italian/Mediterranean Restaurant Has Opened in Cedar Rapids
475 Northland Ave NE is now home to a brand new restaurant! According to the official Facebook page, Tuscany Grill is now OPEN!
What Happened to Edison's?
Last month, we got word that Edison's Eatery in Cedar Rapids had suddenly shut its doors after six years in business. According to a post from the restaurant's now-deleted Facebook page, the reason for the closure was that the owners decided to retire. The good news was that they already knew what business would be taking over the space at the time of the announcement: a new restaurant called Tuscany Grill.
What Does Tuscany Grill Serve?
Tuscany Grill's website says that their food "is rooted in Italian culinary tradition, enhanced with fresh ingredients and coastal inspirations from across the Mediterranean." Some of the items highlighted on the menu include the Tuscany Burger, the Mediterranean Hummus Trio, the Tabbouleh Salad, Crab Cakes, Tuscany Pot Roast, and Pork Kebabs. They also have a section of the menu dedicated to Tuscany Rice Bowls, which are only available during lunch hours: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. And, save room for the Tiramisu for dessert! You can check out the full menu on their website HERE.
When Are They Open?
Now! Tuscany Grill officially began welcoming customers on Monday, June 30th. Their hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m.to 9 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can make a reservation online HERE.
