President Trump has announced he will speak at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in July, and the sign-up for tickets is now open.

KCRG reports that President Trump will appear at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 3rd for a kickoff event for what will be a year-long celebration leading up to July 4th, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, also known as America250, is organizing the event. The President's speech that night will be the starting point for a nationwide tour celebrating the United States, according to KCRG.

 

 

KCRG reports that people who attend the event on July 3rd will get a preview of all the events planned for the upcoming year. The event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds has pre-programming that starts at 5:30 p.m. President Trump is expected to speak at around 7:30 p.m.

President Trump is no stranger to the Iowa State Fair. KCRG reports that the President attended the fair in 2023 and 2015 while campaigning. He also held rallies at the fairgrounds in 2015 and 2021. President Trump spoke in 2023 about a year-long celebration for America's 250th birthday, proposing that the Iowa State Fair would be the starting point, according to KCRG.
