A Downtown Cedar Rapids business is making a few major changes!

Nutrisport Downtown, which just celebrated two years in business at 223 2nd St SE in Cedar Rapids, revealed on Facebook last week that they will no longer be known as Nutrisport. The shop is changing its name! The post reads:

"Same great people, same convenient locations and the smoothie flavors you love, now with a brand new name… some new food recipes, and new spots opening soon! Welcome to Stack Wellness Cafe"

Not only is Nutrisport Downtown becoming Stack Wellness Cafe, but the Nutrisport located at 341 Edgewood Rd NW is, too. A video on the Facebook page featuring Brent Stepanek, one of the owners, says that they will make the transition to the new name this week. The video also revealed that they are also planning to expand into other areas, with the first new cafe set to open in North Liberty. A fourth Stack Wellness Cafe is in the works, as well, but they have yet to announce where exactly that one will be.

Along with the name change and the expansion to other areas, Stack Wellness Cafe has also revealed that they have signed an NIL deal with Hawkeye basketball player and Cedar Rapids native Hannah Stuelke!

Although the recipes and menu options will stay the same, one other change with the Downtown Stack Wellness Cafe is the hours. The cafe will no longer be open on Sundays, but the hours at the Edgewood Rd location will remain the same.
