Morgan Wallen is apparently making deer hunting in Iowa a yearly event. The country star recently returned to Iowa and once again bagged a huge buck.

Outkick reports that Morgan made the trip up to Iowa from his home state of Tennessee with the hunting pros at Drury Outdoors. In January of 2024, Morgan harvested his first whitetail while hunting with his cousin Jared Mullins. Outkick reports that the deer was an impressive 10-point buck. But Morgan would take an even larger deer this season.

Earlier this week, Morgan waited patiently and nailed another impressive whitetail with Drury Outdoors!

Mark Drury called Wallen's buck an "absolute beast!" Drury also noted that Wallen and the hunting group also talked about numerous outdoor topics and that it was " exciting to see his love for the outdoors, conservation, and hunting growing."

Wallen has been keeping quiet since ending his huge One Night at a Time Tour in the fall. He even missed the CMA Awards where he finally won Entertainer of the Year! You can't blame him for wanting some time to enjoy the great outdoors. Morgan is welcome here in Iowa anytime he wants! We have plenty of deer to spare!

Iowa's State Record Fish

Fishing season has arrived in the great state of Iowa and here are photos of 34 of the state record-holders for particular species. There are actually a total of 55 record-setting fish in the state of Iowa but, unfortunately, pictures aren't available for all of them.
