Grab your friends and family and get ready for some indoor skating fun this winter in the Corridor!

The Corridor Business Journal reports that a new indoor skating facility is coming to Iowa City this winter, which will feature some retro-style designs with modern technology!

Where Will the New Indoor Skating Rink be Located?

According to the CBJ, the new facility will be called 'Glide & Go Skate City' and will be located in the former space once held by JoAnn Fabrics at 1676 Sycamore St. in Iowa City. The 27,000 square foot retro-style skating rink will feature fun attractions for all ages.

What Will Be Inside the New Skating Facility?

The founder of Glide & Go Skate City, Alicia Crews, told the CBJ that the new facility will have private party spaces, specialty kids zones, themed family lounges, and multiple skating surfaces. There will also be a separate kids' skating rink to let them gain confidence before skating in the larger area.

Concessions will also be available, and a 'ghost kitchen' is also being planned to allow patrons to order food from different restaurants online.
