Try a New Cedar Rapids Pizza Place at Their Soft Opening This Weekend
Way back in March, we told you that a Wisconsin-based pizza chain would be making its way to Cedar Rapids in 2025. Now we're happy to report that they're just about ready to open their doors! Let us introduce you to Ian's Pizza.
About Ian's Pizza
According to their website, Ian's Pizza opened their first location in Madison, Wisconsin on Halloween night of 2001. Today, there are six total locations in Madison and Milwaukee, which means the Cedar Rapids Ian's will be the 7th location, as well as the first outside of the Badger State.
Ian's Pizza specializes in hand-tossed, New York-style pizza, which they sell as whole pies or by the slice. They also offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free pizza options. Some of their signature pizzas include Mac & Cheese, Buffalo Chicken, Cheesy Potato & Ranch, and Penne Alfredo. We don't know exactly what the Cedar Rapids menu looks like yet, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!
Ian's Pizza Cedar Rapids
The Ian's Pizza in Cedar Rapids won't be a stand-alone restaurant, it will be located inside of an already established business: Lion Bridge Brewing Co. in the Czech Village. The official address is 59 16th Ave SW.
Soft Opening
This weekend, Ian's will begin serving pizza at Lion Bridge, but only by the slice. They'll be open for dinner on Thursday and both lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday. Lion Bridge has their tap room hours listed as:
- Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
