A beloved holiday tradition returns to Lindale Mall this weekend! Nothing helps ring in the holiday season like the Festival of Trees!

When is the Festival of Trees? 

This year's Festival of Trees celebration will be held November 14 through the 16th inside the former Younkers store at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event that features dozens of Christmas trees designed and decorated by local businesses, artists, and organizations. There will be live entertainment, a holiday vendor market, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus!

What Are the Hours for the Festival of Trees?

The Festival of Trees will operate under the following hours;

  • Senior Day, 11-14, from 9 am to 11 am.
  • Sensory Day, 11-14, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
  • Weekend Celebration, 11-15 to 11-16 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Sponsors of the holiday event include the Cedar Rapids Gazette, ESCO Group, and IBEW Local 405.

Bid at an Auction to Take a Tree Home! 

You can even bid at auction and take a tree from the Festival of Trees home with you! Register for the auction HERE. Find the tree from the organization you want to bid on, and keep track of your progress online! Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Young Parents Network and Foundation 2 Crisis Services.

How Do I Get Tickets for the Festival of Trees?

Tickets for this year's Festival of Trees holiday celebration are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. They are just $5 per person, plus fees. 17 and under get in for free with a non-perishable food donation!
