Fredericksburg Firefighter’s Block Party – This Saturday

Summer is almost over...finish it up with some small town Iowa fun...

The Fredericksburg Firefighters are hosting their 3rd annual "Block Party" this Saturday, August 24th at the fire station (on the east edge of town).

Schedule of events:
Noon - Northeast Iowa Bags Tournament - 12pm registration - 1pm "pool play", $20 entry fee - 100% payback, plus $500 - bring a partner!
1pm - Kids Waterball - trophies for 1st through 3rd place
1pm-6pm - Silent auction
3pm-6pm - Music by Aaron Smith
4pm-7pm - Food being served (BBQ)
7pm-11pm - Music by “County Line Drive”

There is a $5 admission, kids 12 & under are free. Plus, eight 1/2 half hogs will be raffled, $500 in local gift certificates will also be raffled (the "early bird" raffle will be at 6pm). Along with a free kids raffle, featuring tents, fishing poles and more. Kids can have fun in the bouncy houses. All of this makes for a day of summer time fun in Fredericksburg!
