Fayette Co. Sheriff Makes 3 Arrests on Various Warrants
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a Cedar Rapids man on illegal drug charges.
Sometime this morning (June 11), officers took 39 year old Eduardo Trevino into custody, on a valid Fayette County warrant, for a Probation Violation. The original charge was Manufacturing Marijuana. Trevino was held in the Fayette County jail on $10,000 cash bond until his initial court appearance. The Fayette Sheriff was assisted by the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office.
A Waucoma man wanted on a Bremer County warrant for a probation violation, was arrested late Wednesday night by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. 28 year old James Langreck was originally charged with Failure to Comply with the State Sex Offender Registry. He was later transferred to Bremer County. Langreck was held on a $5,000 cash only bond, pending his initial appearance before a magistrate.
And Fayette County deputies arrested a Mississippi man on a warrant for a break-in. At about 11pm Monday, 59 year old Terrel O'Merra was captured for Burglary in the 1st Degree. O'Merra was held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
