Driver of Wrecked Car Faces Charges

Authorities have arrested an area driver, after she crashed her car into another vehicle and a phone box.

Shortly after 4am Saturday (June 10), the Fayette County Sheriff got a report of an alleged intoxicated driver on 30th Street, about 2 miles north of Aurora.

When officers arrived, they found the driver, 35 year old Brandie Wiener of Independence, had collided with a parked vehicle and a phone box at a nearby residence.

Wiener was not injured; she was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated-2nd Offense. She was held for an initial court appearance.
