
Bystander’s Lifesaving Actions at Accident Scene Recognized
A Northeast Iowa ambulance service is recognizing an area man for his lifesaving efforts at the scene of a recent serious traffic accident.
Nick Jaschen was given the recognition by the Tripoli EMS.
The Tripoli EMS notes that Nick, who was a bystander at the accident scene, used his belt as a tourniquet for a victim with a severe bleeding injury.
The Tripoli Ambulance Service announced that Nick's actions at the accident site, made a positive difference in the situation.
